Zusammenfassung: | An abstract of a study by Webb et al identifying the prevalence of use of school nutrition sites in supervised practice programs is presented. Finding qualified preceptors was identified most often as a challenge. Resources that are needed to assist educators in developing experiences include scenarios that apply dietetic competencies to school nutrition settings, templates of affiliation agreements, and methods of identifying school nutrition preceptors. School nutrition supervised practice experiences provide exposure to another facet of the dietetic profession for future dietetics professionals. |
