Zusammenfassung:The need to increase innovativeness of design process in pulp and paper industry is obvious. One of the methods is a systematic reuse of design experience accumulated in engineering companies. This article introduces a new method, case‐based reasoning, which allows the designer to store, reuse and learn from the past experience.
