Zusammenfassung: | Electroless silver-plated polyester fibres are investigated in this work in order to develop functional textiles. The surface modification of silver-plated polyester fibres was characterized by the scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Xray
photoelectron spectroscope (XPS). The results showed that silver particles with high purity were deposited uniformly on polyester and the silver film had a rather perfect crystal structure, demonstrating that electroless deposition is a suitable technique for the uniform deposition of silver. |
