Recovery + restructuring = renewal

In the last year, we have been witnesses to chaotic natural events that challenge our ability to re-engineer systems destroyed by unpredictable forces beyond our control. Wildfires, tsunami, hurricanes, and floods have presented us with engineering problems that, at first, require immediate attention to recover lost capability.
