Zusammenfassung:New ammonium compounds, namely, N-[isononylphenoxypoly(ethyleneoxy)carbonylmethyl]ammonium chlorides, were synthesized and found to be highly effective inhibitors of steel corrosion in aqueous hydrochloric media.
