Zusammenfassung: | The motion of a collisionless plasma is modeled by the Vlasov-Maxwell system. For the relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell system in the plane with smooth initial data, bounds on particle speeds are derived. In an earlier work [10] it was shown that solutions remain smooth as long as particle speeds do not approach the speed of light.
