New data on the morphology of diamonds from tholeiite basalts of the Zimneberezhnyi (winter coast) area of the Arkhangelsk Diamondiferous Province

The discovery of the M.V. Lomonosov diamond deposit at the beginning of the 1980s and, later, the V.P. Grib deposit in the Arkhangelsk Region inspired the interest of researchers to investigate this diamondiferous region named the Arkhangelsk Diamondiferous Province (ADP). The commercial potential of the ADP has not been exhausted to date, and therefore investigation of the known kimberlite fields and bodies and discovery of new promising deposits, as well as the discovery of new diamond deposits, remains a paramount target.
