Zusammenfassung: | Experiments with silicate and oxide systems with elements of variable valence at high temperatures require equipment that makes it possible to create (and control during the experiments) a certain partial pressure of oxygen. For this purpose, geochemical experimental laboratories utilize high-temperature experimental setups of original design, in which the oxygen regime in the working volume of the furnace is maintained by ows of gas mixtures of certain composition [13]. This review presents a description of this type of high-temperature equipment designed to study phase transformations and redox reactions in iron-bearing silicate melts under a pressure of 1 atm and temperatures of up to 1500.
