The conference is an interdisciplinary academic venue between sociology, economics, marketing, and study of religions scholars, open to all, supporters as well as critics of the economic paradigm of religion and spirituality. The theme for the 36th annual conference of the SUS will be Archiving UtopiaUtopia as Archive, celebrating the ongoing evolution of one of the worlds largest collections of utopian materials in the world. [...]in advance of a special issue of Utopian Studies on the theme of utopia and education, we also highly encourage papers on any aspect of that topic, including utopian pedagogies (in utopian fictions or in actual practice); utopia as an educational process; education as a utopian process; the university as (intentional) community; and geographies of utopian education.
