Zusammenfassung: | Tishler talks about why she changed her way of thinking about the Pavilion. About 10 years ago, her hospital remodeled a floor, called the Pavilion, for elite, paying customers. Located on the top of the tower, there is a cost differential to stay there. No one asked her opinion about this decision, but she was not pleased. However, her thinking about the Pavilion changed from scorn to admiration when she saw the power that the space had to heal and allow conversations. Her patient was so comfortable that she cried. There was a little more room to be a person, while the patient still got what she needed. |
