Zusammenfassung:Based on the analysis of the thermal history of the mantle, we hypothesize the existence of the partially molten layer at a depth of approximately 700–1100 km under the entire Earth's surface. We present the seismological data that are consistent with this hypothesis and the geoelectric results revealing the conductive layer at similar depths in Central and East Europe.
