Zusammenfassung:Bibliotherapy is a strategy that uses literature to help the reader develop empathy and an understanding of diversity. This article presents examples of two higher education programs that are effectively using bibliotherapy to help future teachers and librarians understand disabilities through children's and young adult literature. The authors suggest strategies for implementing bibliotherapy sessions with K-12 students and provide a bibliography and a webliography of suggested resources.
