Zusammenfassung:This is the first study to determine migration periods of the house mouse from heated buildings of educational institutions into the environment in spring and its return in fall. The study was conducted in southern West Siberia. In the buildings we determined the abundance of the house mouse and studied its distribution, nutrition, reproduction, and nest-building. The study assessed the extent and type of the damage caused by the animals, as well as the synanthropic rodents’ psychological effect on teachers, workers, and students.
