SEYHAN BARAJ GÖLÜ'NDEKI (ADANA) Chondrostoma regium (Heckel, 1843)'UN BÜYÜME ÖZELLIKLERI

This study was performed for the determination of age and sex distributions; age-length, age-weight, length weight relationships and condition factors according to the sex groups of 164 Chondrostoma regium (Heckel,1843) caught from Seyhan Dam Lake (Adana) between April 2007 to March 2008. Individuals ranged between I-IV'th age groups; females and males constituted at a rate of 54.40% and 45.60% respectively. First age group was the dominant for all individuals with a rate of 60.60%. Total length and weight values distributed in between of 14.29cm, 24.50cm and 33.40g, 128.00g respectively. The age-length and age-weight relationships in females and males were estimated as; L^sub t^= 29.83[1-e^sup -0.2626(t+1.9844)^], W^sub t^= 230.20[1-^sup e-0.2626(t+1.9844)^]^sup 2.4507^ and L^sub t^= 26.85[1-e^sup -0.2548(t+1.6296)^], W^sub t^= 197.32[1-e^sup -0.2548(t+1.6296)^]^sup 2.6995^ respectively. The length-weight relationship for all individuals was W=0.0327 L^sup 2.64^ (r=0.964). It was determined that condition factor values were the minimum in age group III. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
