Zusammenfassung:The present study used the multitrait-inultimethod matrix to determine the convergent and divergent validity of conceptual tempo. Two measures of conceptual tempo (Matching Familiar Figures Test, MFF, and Word Recognition Test, WRT) and two measures of intellectual functioning (Raven Coloured Progressive Matrices, RCPM, and Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, PPVT) were presented to 82 third-grade boys twice (to acquire reliabilities). It was found that the latencies on all instruments correlated with latencies on all other instruments (no divergent validity) and that error scores on the MFF correlated better with error scores on the RCPM than the WRT.
