According to the reviewer, as a treatise on educational psychology, from an historical point of view, this book will stand in permanent value. The book commends itself to us very strongly as representing a much needed attitude--historical and constructive --in which relations may be seen without the encumbrance of masses of undigested material, and in terms of clear, logical generalizations which give us a true perspective. Although there is nothing essentially new, the comprehensive and keen interpretation of the facts in hand makes it a manual which no educator or student of educational psychology today can afford to overlook.
