Zusammenfassung:	This case report deals with the successful treatment of a 1st-yr male medical student diagnosed as having a narcissistic personality disorder. It was found necessary to utilize an additional therapist in order to overcome a treatment impasse. This treatment used therapists possessing different theoretical approaches and backgrounds (counseling and psychiatry) in an area that is notoriously difficult to treat. (10 ref)
