Zusammenfassung:"The accuracy of elementary student-teachers' judgments of the sociometric status of peer group members (classmates) was correlated with the accuracy of their judgments of the sociometric status of non-peer group members (pupils they were teaching)." Findings: (1) Accuracy scores of teacher judgment of peer's sociometric status showed a median correlation of 0.54. (2) Accuracy scores of teachers' judgments of pupil's sociometric status showed a mean correlation of 0.60. (3) Accuracy scores of teachers' peer group judgments correlated 0.49 with scores for non-peer group judgments, indicating that there is a "general ability' to judge the sociometric status of others." Implications of these findings for other types of investigations are discussed.
