Zusammenfassung: | This study explored the effect that subject sex and Extended Personal Attributes Questionnaire (EPAQ) masculinity and femininity scores have on their Expectations About Counseling (EAC) scores. Main effects and pairwise interactions of the three variables (182 subjects) were submitted as predictors of EAC score in multiple regression analyses. Equations for nine EAC scales provided significant prediction, with femininity accounting for most of the explained variance. Contrary to results of prior studies, subject sex accounted for little variance. Neither masculinity nor any of the interaction terms had any effect. Possible reasons for the contribution of femininity are discussed. |
