Zusammenfassung: | Children with
a life-threatening illness have experiences that are vastly different than
healthy children. The goal of this study was to assess how children with cancer
use the Color-Your-Life (CYL) technique and to compare the results to
O'Connor's
(1983)
clinical impressions of this technique. The
authors found differences in style of drawing, percentages of color/feeling
represented in the drawings, and percentage of white space between pediatric
cancer patients and a control group. Groups of children with different
experiences appear to represent their feelings differently through the
Color-Your-Life technique. |
