Note on an especially simple partitioning of chi-square from questionnaires

Demonstrates how the chi-square test of association may be partitioned into 2 nearly orthogonal components that are useful in questionnaire item analysis: one that corresponds to difference in attitudes between groups and one that corresponds to difference in strengths of attitudes between groups.
