Zusammenfassung:Investigated whether the level of academic, social, or athletic success of peer social models used in counseling influences students of differing success levels. 9 audiotape models representing 3 levels of academic, athletic, or social success were discussed in 1 interview setting future career-related decisions and how to get relevant information with 189 11th grade males in 4 schools. 36 students served as no treatment control S. Findings were: (a) different athletic and academic model success levels caused significant differences in frequency of information-seeking by Ss, (b) mean frequencies in general suggested a Subject Success Level * Model Success Level * Counselor-School interaction, (c) experimental Ss did not consistently seek more information than control Ss.
