Zusammenfassung:Therapists are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of examining therapy from linguistic perspectives. The use of ordinary language to describe therapy via a particular inter subjective model is a significant achievement. Three groups of studies are described in which purely linguistic variables are used, but their incorporation into training and practice is problematic. Research is needed to bridge linguistics and psychology.
