Zusammenfassung:Discusses the issue of the White behavior therapist and the Black (or other minority) client, stressing problems of differing expectations and styles of communicating. It is pointed out that the therapist should be especially concerned with establishing a trusting relationship and that he learn about the culture and environment of the minority client. Particular problems of various methods (rational-emotive, aversive conditioning, desensitization, assertion training, and operant techniques) are discussed.
