Zusammenfassung:"Twenty-one students in a small class were compared on examination performance with a matched group of students who were in a large class. It was hypothesized that the small class would do better on quizzes which specifically covered the classroom material and for which the students had not prepared but that the two groups would do equally well on final examinations for which they had studied. The hypothesis was confirmed and the implications of this methodological procedure were discussed in relation to other research on the effectiveness of different teaching methods."
