Zusammenfassung:Relationship of 4 personality variables (i.e., permeability, stability, need for achievement, and need for affiliation) to performance of students on course exams under experimentally manipulated stress was analyzed. Ss were 250 students in introductory general psychology at the University of Michigan. Highly permeable students, low stability males, females with low need for achievement, females of high permeability combined with high stability, and females of low need for achievement combined with low need for affiliation were affected most detrimentally by stress conditions in this investigation. Implications of above findings are presented. 19 references.
