The book is divided into four sections: (a) Neurophysiology, (b) Principles of Neuropsychological Reeducation in Aphasiology, (c) Recent Advances in the Reeducation of Aphasias, and (d) The Birth of Neuropsychological Retraining. Nine of the book's fifteen chapters are exclusively or primarily concerned with aphasia. This book is a modest contribution in the attempt to find out how much and how to elicit it. The title of the book translates literally as "To Reeducate the Brain." Perhaps the title illustrates our tendency to treat parts instead of the whole person.
