Zusammenfassung: | Investigated the presence of images in animals. Repeated L. W. Cole's experiments on raccoons with the help of a card displayer using the same methodology except that the E was not seen by the Ss. Two Ss were used, one male and one female. In the learning series the Ss were taught to react to the positive series and to inhibit reactions to the negative series. A controlled series of experiments showed that reactions made to color order and discrimination was not based upon any visual peculiarities. Concluded that the existence of images in raccoons was not proved; however, further investigation is required to establish that raccoons do not have imagery. |
