The relative efficiency of the whole, part and progressive part methods when trials are massed--a minor experiment
The whole method is found to be less economical than either of the part methods for learning poetry under massed practice. Trials give more statistically reliable results than does time. There is little difference between the three methods in terms of relearning scores.
