Zusammenfassung:Reviews the book, Human Performance and Productivity: Information Processing and Decision Making, Vol. 2 of a 3 Volume Series by William C. Howell and Edwin A. Fleishman (Eds.) (1982). This is Volume 2 in a three-volume series on human performance and productivity. The editors state in the introduction that the intent of the series is to examine the relation between knowledge of human performance capabilities and the enhancement of productivity. Throughout the entire book, performance is represented by the usual basic research variables of errors, reaction time, subjective probabilities, and subjective utilities. The book does little to further our understanding about the relation between human performance and real productivity. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
