Emotions and Health Reconsidered

Reviews the book, Emotions in Health and Illness: Theoretical and Research Foundations by Lydia Temoshok, Craig Van Dyke, and Leonard S. Zegans (Eds.) (1983). This first volume of the series Mind and Medicine is the result of a conference held in San Francisco on February 13 and 14, 1982. The eighteen papers are divided into four parts: "The Territory- Psychosomatic and Behavioral Medicine," "Stress and Emotion," "The Physiological Dimension," and "Theoretical Perspectives."
