Zusammenfassung:Reviews the book, Theories of Business Behavior by Joseph W. McGuire (1964). This book tries to dispel some of the confusion that surrounds theory in business today by pointing out the similarities and differences between theories and by presenting many highly regarded theories in a clear and concise manner. In this book, comparisons between economic theories are frequent; (half of the content is economic theory). Within the behavioral sections theory-comparisons occur less often. Such comparisons almost never occur across sections. This reviewer, as a psychologist, sees some inaccuracies. This book is not for the psychologist who is interested in psychological theories about business behavior. This reviewer cannot judge whether it is for the economist who is interested in theories of the behavior of the firm. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2017 APA, all rights reserved)
