Annual seminar on experimental mineralogy, petrology, and geochemistry of 2007

An annual seminar on experimental mineralogy, petrology, and geochemistry of 2007 was organized by the Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences, was financially supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and the Division of Earth Sciences, Russian Academy of Sciences, and was held in Moscow on April 24 and 25, 2007. The 158 presentations and papers submitted to the seminar represent almost forty institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, universities, and other research centers in the country and the former Soviet republics, some in coauthorship with scientists from Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, and France. The activities of the seminar involved 55 oral presentations, with the rest of the papers included in poster sessions. A few papers of scientists from Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, and Syktyvkar were presented in the form of posters in absentia.
