Status of the VEPP-5 Injection Complex

The VEPP-5 injection complex is a source of electron and positrons beams for the VEPP-4M and VEPP-2000 colliders at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. It has been shown earlier that the injection complex fully satisfies the needs of operating colliders for particle beams. Nevertheless, further...

Zusammenfassung:The VEPP-5 injection complex is a source of electron and positrons beams for the VEPP-4M and VEPP-2000 colliders at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. It has been shown earlier that the injection complex fully satisfies the needs of operating colliders for particle beams. Nevertheless, further upgrade of the VEPP-5 subsystems (thermal stabilization, optical diagnostics, and software) is underway, which is aimed at enhancing interaction of the complex with consumers and increasing the consistency of its operation. The latest achievements in the performance of the injection complex and the possibility of improving it are presented.
