Zusammenfassung:Renal paratransplant hernia is a rare but potentially life-threatening complication of renal transplantation. This case report describes a 58-year-old woman who developed multiple episodes of vomiting and abdominal distension eight days after a renal transplant. Computed tomography revealed a distal ileal loop between the transplanted kidney and peritoneum, causing ileal obstruction. An exploratory laparotomy was performed, and the ileal loop was released. Unfortunately, the patient developed neutropenic sepsis with septic shock, leading to her death.
