Zusammenfassung:A brand-new two stage boost converter with a single switch topology is called a quadratic boost converter. Using a single switch and a geometric method, the converter will be utilized to increase the 18 volt DC battery voltage to 90 volts output level. The values of the passive components and converter gains can theoretically be computed using design equations. Using simulation in Matlab, the designed converter’s performance is verified. In this study, a DC-DC converter topology is used to increase the output voltage of renewable energy sources. In essence, boost converters are used to increase voltage gain. The output voltage is decreased in this converter because the switching frequency is constrained. To solve this problem, a single switch is used to combine the parts of two boost converters, improving the converter’s switching frequency and output voltage. This research compares the voltage stress and efficiency by using the topologies of two converters.
