Zusammenfassung: | An early adolescent boy presented with an alleged history of road traffic accident sustaining a closed injury to the left knee. On X-ray and computed tomography imaging, he was diagnosed with left femur bicondylar Hoffa’s fracture with transverse patellar fracture. Hoffa’s fracture is described in adults and rarely occurs in the skeletally immature population and hence poses a dearth of knowledge about the treatment for the same. Our patient underwent open reduction and internal fixation. The patient was followed up regularly and achieved radiological union and good knee function. |
