Zusammenfassung:The article analyzes the narrative surrounding the political support, and military aid provided by Russia, and Russian Emperor Nicholas II himself, as well as the presence and role of the Russian soldiers on Serbia’s and Greece’s (Thessaloniki front) battlefields during the World War I in the Serbian public discourse in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (from 1929 – Kingdom of Yugoslavia). It examines viewpoints and stances of the Serbian journalists, politicians, intellectuals, diplomats, military personnel and clergymen.
