Zusammenfassung:Flood and waterlogging hazards occur more frequently owing to global climate change and rapid development of urbanization in recent years, especially in the cities. To understand the research advances of urban flood and waterlogging disasters, this study systematically reviewed literature published during the period of 1998—2022 based on the bibliometric method and multi-dimensional clustering analysis of keywords. The databases (e.g. Web of Science and CNKI) were chosen and a total of 374 original articles were retrieved for data analysis from 1998 to 2022. The results indicated that the number of papers published in English and Chinese for urban flood disasters research showed an upward trend in the study period, especially after 2016. The keyword analysis indicated that the English and Chinese keywords such as “urban flood”, “urban flooding”, and “climate change” were areas of intense research interest in this field in the past twenty years. The study process of urban flood disasters could be divided into three stages, namely the initial stage from 1998 to 2008, the development stage from 2009 to 2016, and the prosperity stage from 2017 to 2022. Finally, under the background of global climate change and urbanization, the development trends on urban flood disasters were summarized. This study aims at providing a comprehensive landscape of urban flood and waterlogging disasters research and may be helpful for researchers to identify key information and the recent status in this field.
