Zusammenfassung:Actinium-225 ( 225 Ac) has attracted global attention due to its applications in cancer therapy. A new 225 Ac production method is proposed by muon nuclear-capture reactions with negative muons ( μ − ) irradiating on a 226 Ra target. The 225 Fr is produced by 226 Ra ( μ − , n ν ) 225 Fr reaction and decays to 225 Ra. The 225 Ra subsequently decays to 225 Ac. The method produces no carrier-added 225 Ac, and 213 Bi from a 225 Ac- 213 Bi generator. The production method by muon nuclear-capture reactions with the 226 Ra target is described. The radioactivity of 225 Ac and 213 Bi are calculated assuming the reaction branching ratio of 226 Ra ( μ − , n ν ) 225 Fr.
