PRODUCCIÓN VITIVINÍCOLA EN SALTA. EL CASO DE LA FAMILIA MICHEL TORINO: INSERCIÓN, ESTRATEGIAS, ORGANIZACIÓN Y VÍNCULOS ENTRE FINES DEL SIGLO XIX Y MEDIADOS DEL SIGLO XX 1

Michel Torino, empresa familiar, vinos, agroindustria, Salta Abstract The purpose of this article is to contribute to the knowledge of the winemaking activity in Salta by studying the case of a business family, that of the Michel Torino family, which started wine production towards the end of the 19th century. The analysis will take up contributions from the history of family businesses. [...]it will refer to the internal organization of the company in its different moments, contemplating its administration, financing practices, investment strategies and family governance, as well as the incidence of the economic and political contexts it went through. To a lesser extent, tax records of territorial contributions, wine taxes and bank correspondence were consulted. Inquiring about this family business contributes, beyond the case itself, to an approach to the beginnings of the wine agroindustry in the province of Salta.
