Data was collected and analysed from the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to determine if the introduction of guided e-ordering altered the allergy testing patterns and found that although it aided primary care physicians in requesting appropriate testing and increased the number of IgE testing it did not change the percentage of positive results.
