Zusammenfassung:A phenomenological approach to assessing the damageability of polycrystalline metallic materials is proposed, which is based on taking into account chaotic plastic flow at the mesostructural level. Chaotic flow allows us to consider a deformed metal as an information-probabilistic system, and use Shannon’s entropy as a macroparameter of damageability. Based on this approach, using the Volterra linear integral equation of the 1st kind, the principle of summation of fatigue damage was obtained.
