Zusammenfassung: | The article presents a new method for increasing the operational reliability of rotary cement kilns. The basis of the method is a set of diagnostic and control procedures that are carried out without stopping and unloading the kiln, i.e., in a hot state. Based on the results of alignment, the mechanical adjustment of kiln is carried out to eliminate deviations in the geometric axis of furnace and defects in the main components identified during diagnostics. The methods described in the article for determining the kiln’s position in the horizontal and vertical planes, radial and end runout of the main support units, checking the condition of drives, hydraulic stops, the furnace body and constructing a computer model of furnace unit allow for high-quality mechanical adjustment and increase equipment productivity. |
