Zusammenfassung:Food sovereignty demonstrates the human right to access quality food, produced using ecological and socially sustainable methods. Considering the relevance of these premises, the research proposes to analyze the opportunities that social management and strategic management provide to food systems. This is a descriptive study, carried out in vulnerable communities in the Department of Bolívar in Colombia. The methodology used consists of an empirical investigation, in which the questionnaire is used, applied to a sample of 277 families, selected through random or probabilistic, simple random sampling. Among the main results, the recognition by the community of social management and strategic management stands out as mechanisms to promote the execution of social projects, leading to collective progress. Likewise, the importance of social projects and the objectives of the Food Security Network is indicated, to promote development and the generation of own income within the community. It is concluded in the relevance of managing food resources through managerial and collective strategies, which have as their focus the production and access of food within vulnerable communities in Colombia.
