Zusammenfassung:The technological development of recent years generates the need to interpret the available information from different perspectives; Therefore, the use of statistics is of vital importance. The objective of this research was to compile the different investigations about statistics in university students, through a bibliographic review of articles published on the statistical training of university students. The research is critical and specific, the procedure followed was: Select articles, identify relevance, synthesize the information, group according to similarity and identify variables or factors associated with the study of the topic, thus selecting 30 articles related to the research objective; Finally, the information was organized in a matrix, then those with similar inquiries and conclusions were selected and grouped. In this sense, the result was that the approach to statistics in university courses is relevant to contribute to the solution of professional problems, which is why it constitutes a transcendental issue for the training process of university students. The bibliographic analysis allows us to conclude that incorporating statistics into the university curriculum, regardless of the major, is essential to give the student the ability to make decisions, analyze and interpret the data.
