Zusammenfassung:Global energy leaders are constantly looking for opportunities to improve performance, reduce unplanned outages, and reduce fuel costs. Point-to-point solutions increase the efficiency of individual operations; however, significant results in optimizing the technological process and improving business solutions, according to the American company General Electric (GE), can only be achieved using digital twins. The article examines the structure of the digital twin developed by GE on the example of a power plant with a gas turbine unit, and describes the models used in the digital twin. The advantages of the twin created by GE and examples of its use are considered.
