Zusammenfassung: | Naresuan university’s water supply plant has started its water supply production for distributing to all departments and faculties in its main campus since 1991. In principle, the volume of water produced must equal to the volume of water used plus the volume of water remained in pipelines. However, there are some waters lost in the process of distribution systems. Consider the cost of leakage to improve pipeline system for the future. This study collected historical data to analyze water supply costs including cost of labor, chemical, electricity and maintenance. The University has produced approximately 1,180,648 cubic meters of water supply in total during 2017 to 2022. The results show that the average production cost of water supply is 4.43 Baht per cubic meter with 33.09% loss from leakage, costing 151,006.38 Baht per month in average during the 6-year period of the study. |
