Zusammenfassung: | As the bypass-ratio of aeroengines continues to grow, the extra noise generated by the interaction of the jet with the wings becomes more relevant. Understanding the underlying mechanisms of noise generation and predicting the far-field noise of this type of configurations is therefore important for the development of the next-generation ultra-high-bypass-ratio engines. In this paper, a two-step LES/APE coupled framework has been applied to investigate these effects on a simplified configuration. The flow and acoustic results are compared to experimental data measurements available in the literature, achieving a good agreement. The installation effects and sound sources are also studied by analyzing the near-field of the LES/APE simulations. |
