Zusammenfassung:Introduction & Objective: There are limited contemporary data available on healthcare resource utilization (HCRU) in children newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D). This study estimated HCRU in newly diagnosed pediatric patients with T1D in US clinical practice. Methods: Merative MarketScan® data were retrospectively analyzed for newly diagnosed pediatric patients with T1D enrolled in Commercial or Medicaid health plans (January 1, 2014-June 30, 2019). Included patients had ≥2 T1D claims ≥30 days apart (first claim was index date), ≥12 months of pre-index enrollment, ≥1 month of follow-up, and were aged
